Fireman’s Park

Fireman’s Park is one of the coolest places to play on Beech Mountain. This two acre park is located on St. Andrews, right off of Pine Ridge Rd. and adjacent to BMVFD Fire Station #2. Many families visit this wonderful park on the way to or from the Buckeye Recreation Center.

The Firetruck-themed playground apparatus is surrounded by benches, picnic tables, and grills fit for an exciting afternoon adventure. There is ample parking, a hiking trail, and a stream that meanders through the park.

Fireman’s Park is a public-private project between the Beech Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, Beech Mountain Club, and the Town of Beech Mountain. The park honors our local emergency professionals.

Fundraising efforts for this project are ongoing. Information on how to donate can be found at www.beechrecreation.org or by calling 828.387.3003.
